Reshapers
In a post-apocalyptic future, a group of friends work to uncover the truth about what caused the end
of the modern world and how their parents were involved in it.

About
Reshapers is a climate change conscious story that is interested in exploring what life will be like for future generations brought into a world barreling toward apocalypse. What will it be like to grow up in a different world and try to make sense of the choices made by the generations that came before - choices that lead the world to be what it is?
I am interested in the kinds of stories that will be told in the future about the moment we’re living through now. Who will we blame? How will future generations try to reframe (or reshape) the narratives about how ways of life have had to change?
Pitch Deck

In the small town of Lowlin, Maya and her friends have grown up in relative tranquility despite the
world having been irreversibly altered by a mass climate change event known as “The Great
Reshaping.” Sequestered in the mountain range outside of town, a giant robot they call the “Husk”
watches over their community with silent indifference. But one day it begins an endless bellow that
sends the town leaders into a panic.
Episodes
Below you will find scripts for the first two episodes of this story.
Episode 1 - “Antiphony”
In the past, a giant mechanical colossus destroys the city of New Dallas. In the present, we meet Maya and
her friends Terra and Ethan in the small town of Lowin - a town that seems untouched by
apocalyptic climate-change events that ravaged the world.
A mysterious visitor named Hector comes to Lowlin asking about the machine known as a “Husk” on the outskirts of Lowlin sending the town leaders into a panic, and Maya, Ethan, and Terra on a quest for answers.

I worry a lot about loops. The way we repeat ourselves, coming back to the same place again and again and again.
I want this time to be different.

There are benefits to autonomy. To choosing your own way to live. But people still worried, Terra. That doesn't go away, it only intensifies.
Episode 2 - “Consonance // Dissonance”
In the past, Terra and her adoptive sister, Sarah, begin asking their father Jacobe about what happened to the world before Lowlin. In the present, Terra wonders what’s happening to the world outside Lowlin’s borders... a world that appears to be rotting.
Meanwhile, the Lowlin town council figures out what to do with Hector, the stranger who has come to town. Terra and Windy go on Patrol to service the Poles that interface with the Husk’s system and keep their environment in check. In a brash move, Richard takes Hector prisoner, and tensions between Richard and his daughter Maya reach a breaking point.
