Variable West is a nonprofit magazine that supports and empowers the West Coast art world by nurturing regional communities and international conversations.
I became their first ever writer-in-residence in collaboration with Wa Na Wari, a Black-owned community arts space in Seattle. Through this residency, I wrote deep diver art criticism about the wide array of Black art on display at Wa Na Wari. My work utilizes field reporting, interviews, theory, and personal narratives to unpack the complex multidisciplinary work on Exhibition at Wa Na Wari.

Aviation Day is an annual, multi-city event by Alaska Airlines designed to inspire youth (ages 11–18) to explore careers in aviation.
Until 2025, all event info and registration were hosted on a third-party partner website. This fragmented the user experience and made the event harder to discover and understand.

I worked as the main Editor and supplemental Narrative Designer on the project. In addition to my editing and writing duties, I led a content marketing effort leading up to the launch of the title that interviewed key members of the team and highlight important aspects of the game from music, design, inspiration, and more.
